Emergency manual operations:Two different systems are available: Standard is a stable emergency hand crank (DKAK). A hand crank interlog switch separates the control current before emergency operation takes place. Emergency hand chain operation (DKAN). Engaging and disengaging is done by a short pull on the engaging chain, which at the same time also switches off the control voltage.. Gear:Heavy-duty worm gear drive: The steel pinion and forged bronze worm gear are enclosed in an aluminumdiecast-housing. The permanent oil bath lubrication ensures long life and quit operation in all installed positions. |

Integrated self locking gearbox
All MD drives feature a self-locking gearbox which is independent of speed and independent of turning direction. The self locking gearbox is maintenance-free and prevents the door from shutting down in case of worm shaft or worm wheel breakage.
